Trip To Africa
First, I want to thank those of you that have made a contribution to the PWI Africa Project and those of you who are, thank you in advance.
It is so exciting that we have made such a difference in the lives of women and children globally!
I am traveling to Africa the week of August 17 to meet with women leaders in three countries to further the projects and programs PWI is doing in Lagos, Nigeria; Sierre Leone; Ghana and Nairobi, Kenya.
Powerful Women International is working with women in these countries in Africa to start and/or further PWI-Connections. We have also adopted a school for children in Nairobi, Kenya.
Our goal is to connect to cities around the world to empower leadership in women globally, to help rebuild families and revitalize communities worldwide especially in Africa. We have been able to help women in Africa push through extraordinary circumstances to achieve their goals. We need to continue to help them so that they can create vital, enriched lives for themselves and their communities.
I am planning a trip for August 18, 2009 to travel to these countries in Africa and work closely with women there and am looking for monetary contributions to underwrite the project. Your contribution will help to make a difference in the lives and communities of these countries as we work closely with civic, government and parliament leaders and community activists. I am also speaking in Kenya at a PWI event and teaching the children at the school we have adopted in Nairobi.
